To do this you must build a New Query.

You must either be Viewing a Farm or in MailMerge.

• Hit F6 (the function key) to bring up "Filters". The menu box will indicate QUERY DESCRIPTION(S): (Press F3 to build new)
• Hit F3 (the function key)
• The Field Selection box appears. Select the Field (the one which you want to exclude the empty fields) from the list box and hit ENTER.
• If you select a character type field - the operation box (Equal to, Less Than, etc.) that appears has as it's header Upper(Field Name) - where Field Name is the name of the field you selected.
  • Select "Greater than" and hit ENTER
  • type in " !" (a space followed by an exclamation mark) and hit ENTER.
• If you select a numeric type field - the operation box (Equal to, Less Than, etc.) that appears has as it's header Field Name - where Field Name is the name of the field you selected.
  • Select "Greater than" and hit ENTER
  • type in "0" (the number zero) and hit ENTER.
• The BOOLEAN menu appears.
  • Select <<done>> and hit ENTER.
• The Query Description window appears.
  • Type in a description (For example "NO EMPTY LENDERS") that you'll recognize next time you want to use this query.
• You are dropped back into the QUERY DESCRIPTION(S) window. The query you have just created is now at the end of the list. Hit the down arrow key to cursor down (or hit Page Down repeatedly) until the query you just created is highlighted.
  • Hit F9 (the function key) to get a count on how many records match your query.
  • Hit ENTER to use the query.
