Symptoms:
If you are using a laser printer the page length on your document should be set to 60. You can change this by pressing ALT-L while in the Mail Merge letter. Keep in mind your printer must also be set to 60 lines as well. This is the default for most laser but, at times they are different.
The next item to check is that your letter does not have more lines than the page length. To check this you have to be in appropriate letter in the mail merge. Then hold down the Down-Arrow key until it stops. Check the bottom of the screen to see what line you are on. You can verify the line number by checking the L: # on the bottom of the screen. If the L:# in greater than or equal to the LN:# you have to many lines of text. If these lines are blank all that needs to be done is to delete these empty lines. To do so go to the end of the last line of text in you document and hold down the delete key for a few seconds. After you have done this recheck the last line. Repeat this process until your last line is less than the page length (LN:).
The last thing to do is to make sure your printer is set to top of page. There are many ways to do this on different lasers, but the way that always works is to turn the printer off and on again.
