If you try to start the FMS 5.X program and you get the error message:

you will need to delete the file $$$$FMS.TMP from your MYFARM5 directory.
To do this, please type the following command at the DOS prompt:
DEL C:\MYFARM5\$$$$FMS.TMP
There are 2 possibilities as to what caused this error.
1) Your PC crashed while running the program.
or
2) You do not have enough memory to run the program.
5.X requires a minimum of 4 Mb of installed memory and extended memory enabled. If this is the problem you will need to correct this before you can run 5.X.
