Before calling Technical Support, please follow
these steps.
- Check
the on-line Help and/or manual thoroughly. (Happily,
many solutions turn out to be in the Help system and/or
manual).
- Have
your program version and User ID number ready so the
support staff can assist you more efficiently.
- Gather
all information that applies to the problem. Note or
print out any on screen messages you get when the problem
occurs.
- Write
down all the steps you have taken to solve the problem,
along with any error messages your computer has given
you.
- Be
sure you know your hardware configuration, operating
system version, memory, disk space, printer, etc.
- When
you call, please be in front of your computer with the
power on. Have on hand your product disks and related
material.
