Instant
Impact! requires that your computer's date settings are year
2000 compliant. If you are experiencing date problems or
are receiving warning messages about checking Regional Settings,
please follow the steps below to resolve these issues.
To check your Regional Settings in Windows 98/95:
- Close
any programs you are currently running including Instant Impact!
- Click
on the Windows START button and then select SETTINGS
CONTROL PANEL.
- In
the Control Panel window double click on the REGIONAL
SETTINGS icon.
- In
the Regional Settings Properties box click on the DATE
tab.
- Locate
the Short date style: field (shown below).
- You
must make sure the year is set to yyyy
(shown above) for example m/d/yyyy. Click the drop
down arrow to make your choice.
M = month D = day Y = year.
Note: Avoid having the following combinations in either
short date format or long date format:
m/d/yy
mm/dd/yy
mm/dd/yyyy
- Click
Apply.
- Another
area that you will want to check is the Language settings.
Click on the Regional Settings tab at the top.
- Make
sure the Language is set to English (United States).
- If
you made a change, answer Yes to Shutting down Windows.
- Once
these settings are set, you should have no further problems
with date issues.
